WHY YOU ASK? Simple answer: there is so much NEGATIVITY around a child throughout the day no matter WHAT AGE...so the PLACE THEY NEED TO FEEL LOVE AND SUPPORT IS THIER HOME!
No that does not mean that they get away with bad manner or acting out or be abusive..but the "FIRST THING TO SAY TO THEM BEFORE YOU GET INTO WHY YOU ARE GOING TO GIVE THEM A CONSEQUENCE for THEIR ACTIONS..is this sentence....
"I LOVE YOU VERY MUCH....I LOVE YOU MORE THAN THE DISTANCE OF THE FURTEST STAR IN THE UNIVERSE (that gives them a visuable of your deep love for them and kids need VISUALES! We are in the internet age) and YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO TALK TO ME LIKE THAT ...(OR) YOUR ARE FORBIDDEN TO DO THAT BECAUSE THOSE RULES ARE NOT THE RULES OF THE LOVE THAT YOU HAVE BEEN RAISE WITH IN OUR HOME.....etc....
PARENTS, CAREGIVERS.....ALWAYS..ALWAYS..> SHOW THE POSITIVE LOVE 1st!!!
THAT IS THE ACTION YOU KIDS WILL THINK ABOUT WHEN THEY ARE PAYING FOR THEIR ACTIONS...TEENAGES WILL REBEL BUT STAY FIRM AND NOSE CLOSE WITH THE LOVE>>>LOVE>>>LOVE>>>
IT DOES WORK..IT TAKES STRENGTH OF YOUR PART AND YOUR ARE THE PARENT AND YOU DO LOVE THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
