FREE ADVICE FOR TEENS AND ADOLOCENT PARENTS!

DEAR JEZ-SEZ.com

We were wondering if your JEZ-SEZ.com Team believes in all the things that are promoted on the Internet such as children are concerned?

How do I judge what is good and what is not for my younger ones to teen sites as far as safety is concerned?
thank-you,
Tamie

DEAR NEWBIE :-)

No, we do not...of course not :-)

As far as Toddlers to Kinders we suggest CD ROMS-1st-8th you have free parental sites that are available such as Homework helpers that do a great job!9-12th they should be familiar with where the safe sites are from their schools and you can check by pulling up the "History" on your computer and seeing where your child has been viewing-

Also purchase a spyware/virus scan which will block all bad sites from your computer (make sure it is a certified award winning program)...

The INTERNET is a GREAT PLACE AS LONG AS YOU DO NOT BELIEVE EVERYTHING & YOU USE IT WISELY!

ADVICE FOR PARENTS

DEAR JEZ-SEZ:

My wife and I have a constant battle over our kids with the computers in our home!

She does not understand the nuts that are on the Web that can access our kids information by asking them simple questions that they can "fall for by pretending to be their friends...."!

I keep telling her to WATCH THE NEWS AND SEE WHAT IS HAPPENING! She turns a "BLIND EYE TO KEEP PEACE IN THE HOUSE!"

What can I DO? PLEASE ADVISE?

DESPERATE DAD!
Barry/Ohio

Dear Barry,

Take the Computer and move it to a "CENTRAL LOCATION IN YOUR HOME, Such as the Living room, dining room, Kitchen, large foyer, where you and your wife can "VIEW WHAT YOU KIDS ARE DOING AT ANY GIVEN TIME AS YOU PASS BY".... this will eliminate the "battles" you and you wife are experiencing and keep the children safe on the Internet! You can also check their "History".

PARENTS ADVICE

DEAR JEZ-SEZ:

Our 18 year old is graduating High school and for the 1st time we are dealing with Prom night!

We were asked by our Teen if she could stay overnight in the Hotel with her friends because they all were going to be up all night instead of driving home and being bored after an exciting night.

Of course we said "Absolutely not!" while laughing...lolol. How do parents let their children do that in today's age?Are we.....

Too Strict?

KarenMichigan

Dear Karen-Are you kidding????

More Parents should be thinking as clear as you and there would be less deaths, human trafficking and alcohol poisoning, let alone drunken driving going on or drug overdoses....

There is no better feeling than knowing your Teen is safe after having a great time such as a Prom night and home tucked in even if it means you have to be the ot;Limo Driver!

Great Job Mom!
